ALM Update

In light of the high numbers of covid-19 currently in the province, and in consultation with our Unifor Local 2289 Safety Officers, the executive board has made the difficult decision to change our April 7th and 8th, 2022, Annual Local Meeting from in-person to a Zoom meeting.

  
While in-person meetings are always preferable when it comes to co-ordinating activities and building on solidarity, the safety of our members needs to be the priority. 

A welcome package which includes your zoom link will be sent to everyone on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.  While most attendees have previously provided the union office with a personal email address, we ask that you please respond to this email confirming it, or updating as required.***As always, only use personal devises (no Bell equipment) when joining this zoom meeting.***   The times have not changed so please refer to the agenda in Wednesday’s email.

I know this is disappointing news for many, but we can only hope that in 2023, covid-19 concerns will not be an issue and we can gather together again.
