Notice of Annual Local Meeting

7th Annual Local Meeting
Truro, Nova Scotia
April 24 & 25, 2014

In accordance with Article 18 of the CEP Local 2289
By-laws, the 7th Annual Local Meeting will be held
in 2014 on April 24 & 25 (to noon) in Truro, Nova
Scotia. A blockof rooms have been reserved at the
Glengarry Best Western in Truro for the night of
April 24, 2014.

Purpose
Article 18 states:
The purpose of the Annual Local Meeting is;
(a) to exchange ideas and make recommendations to
the Executive Board, the Council, and the National
Union.
(b) to provide a forum for Units to share
information, coordinate activities, and build on
solidarity with one another.
(c) to assist Units in participating in the affairs
of the Local.
(d) to amend these bylaws.
