Common Interest Forum Update

The Common Interest Forum meetings that were scheduled for February and March, 2014 did not take place due to issues around scheduling conflicts that occurred for both the Union and the Company representatives. The upcoming meetings of CIF will take place: April 15-17, Halifax, NS; May 13-15, St. John’s, NL; and June 3-5, Charlottetown, PE.

Our UniforACL Bargaining caucus will take place in Moncton, NB the week of April 7th prior to our first CIF meeting of the year. The issues/proposals submitted by the membership of all four member Locals of UniforACL by December 13, 2013 will be reviewed and discussed as part of preparation for bargaining a new collective agreement. There will be 33 delegates with participation from all Locals according to our UniforACL By-Laws.
